Los Angeles is a great place to spend with your loved ones on Valentine’s Day! This year, there are many ways to celebrate the night with your partner in downtown Los Angeles and Hollywood. Read below for just a few of the events happening!
- Downtown LA Art Walk Love Lounge, 6-10pm: This year, Valentine’s Day falls on LA Art Walk day in downtown Los Angeles! Whether you’re spending the night with your partner, family or friends, you can bring them to the best place to enjoy art and culture in the area. This month, Art Walk celebrates women through photography. The featured artist is Iranian photographer Sia Aryai. At the lounge, free samples of Eureka Organic bread will be given out. At the FD Photo Studios in the Lounge, you can take pictures with your loved ones at the FD Floral Photo Booth for FREE!
- Coffee is for Lovers: The First Annual L.A. Valentine’s Day Crawl: If you’re looking for a unique way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, how about a café crawl in Los Angeles? Thursday is supposed to be a warm day, and you are encouraged to take the Metro in this citywide coffee crawl. There are 15 locations you can check into by scanning a QR code at the check-out counter or tagging your Instagram or Vine posts with your location and the hashtag #CoffeeisForLovers. When you check-in, you are entered into the drawing to win a big prize. Winners will be chosen at random and each check-in qualifies as an entry. In the evening from 6-10pm, Latte Heart will hold a coffee throwdown at Project Gallery + Espresso in Hollywood. The party is free, but be sure to register here!
- An Evening of Romance with the LA Phil, 2/14-2/16, 8-10pm: You can bring your special someone to a romantic night at the Los Angeles Philharmonic this week! There will be passionate performances of Mozart, Strauss and others at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles. Afterwards there will be a reception of indulgence, including champagne bottle service. Tickets are available here for $20-$195.
- Jekyll & Hyde @ the Pantages, 2/12-3/3, 7:30-8:30pm: Finally, those that are staying in hotels near Pantages Theatre you can see American Idol star and Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis and Grammy Award nominee and R&B superstar Deborah Cox star in this classic tale of good and evil this Valentine’s Day. Tickets are $23-$123 here.
