Getting to the Hollywood Hotel is easy whether it’s by rapid transit or by car. The Metro Train Station is located on Vermont Ave, walking distance from the hotel. Metro buses stop directly in front of the hotel.
To Universal Studios Hollywood ~ Exit hotel and turn right on Vermont Avenue. Turn left on Franklin Avenue, turn right on Cahuenga Boulevard to Universal Center Drive, turn right into Universal Studios. Approximate drive time is 10 minutes depending upon traffic conditions.
To L.A. Convention Center & Staple Center ~ Exit hotel and turn left on Vermont Avenue to Hollywood Freeway (101 South) to Harbor Freeway (110 South) and exit 9th Street, turn left. Approximate drive time is 10 minutes depending upon traffic conditions.
From San Diego, Orange County ~ Interstate 5 North to Hollywood Freeway 101 North. Exit Vermont Avenue and turn right. Go North for one mile. The hotel is located on the right at 1160 North Vermont Avenue on the corner of Vermont Avenue & Lexington Street after passing Santa Monica Boulevard.
From San Francisco, Santa Barbara ~ Interstate 5 South, exit Los Feliz Boulevard, turn right. Go to 5th traffic light and turn left on Vermont Avenue. The hotel is located on the left at 1160 North Vermont Avenue on the corner of Vermont & Lexington, after passing Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard.
From Las Vegas ~ Interstate 15 Freeway South to Los Angeles, West on Interstate 10 Freeway to Los Angeles, North on the 101 Hollywood Freeway, exit Vermont Avenue and turn right going North for one mile. After crossing Santa Monica Boulevard, the hotel will be on the right hand side.

Paid Transportation to Hollywood Hotel
Two shared ride van companies, Prime Time Shuttle and Super Shuttle, operate out of LAX and are authorized to serve all Southern California counties. Passengers are encouraged to contact the companies first for more information. These vans pick up passengers on the Lower/Arrival Level islands in front of each terminal under the orange sign Shared Ride Vans.

Free shuttle bus service is provided from the Metro Green Line Aviation Station. Passengers wishing to use this shuttle bus service should wait under the LAX Shuttle & Airline Connections sign on the Lower/Arrival Level islands in front of each terminal, and board the “G” Shuttle.
Passengers also can take the “C” Shuttle from the same pick-up point to get to the Metro Bus Center, where they can board city buses serving the Los Angeles area. Information on city bus services is available by telephone on the Information Display Board in the baggage claim area in each terminal. In addition, passengers can obtain local transit information by calling (800) 266-6883.
From the Green Line Aviation Station, take the Green line EASTBOUND to the Rosa Parks Transfer Station. Transfer to the Metro Blue Line NORTHBOUND to the 7th Street Metro Station. Transfer to the Redline NORTHBOUND headed toward North Hollywood and get off at the Vermont / Santa Monica Station. Take the escalator up to Santa Monica Boulevard go north for about 100 feet on Vermont Avenue. The Hotel will be on the right hand side. For more info, please visit www.metro.net.
Approximately 40 rental car companies operate out of LAX, with vehicle rental sites located off the airport. Many of these rental car companies provide phone links inside or near the baggage claim areas on the Lower/Arrival Level of the terminals so travelers can request a free shuttle pick up to reach the rental car sites.
These are allowed to meet arriving customers under the purple sign “Rental Car Shuttles” on the Lower/Arrival level islands outside baggage claim.
Customers of other rental car should contact their rental car of choice using the Ground Transportation Telephone Boards in baggage claim areas of each terminal to arrange for pick-up.
These customers will use the free LAX Shuttle Bus to reach the Off-Airport Rental Car Terminal to meet their rental car courtesy shuttle. Customers should meet the LAX Shuttle Bus “Lot C” on the Lower/Arrivals level island under the sign for LAX Shuttle to travel to the rental car terminal.
Taxis can be found curbside on the Lower/Arrival Level islands in front of each terminal under the yellow sign indicating Taxis. Passengers will be presented with a ticket stating typical fares to major destinations. It is illegal for any transportation services to solicit fares, and travelers using such services do so at their own risk.
These ten rental car companies are permitted to pick-up/drop-off customers directly from the airline terminals using courtesy shuttles.
