All over the world, Women were captivated by E.L. James’ “Fifty Shades of Grey” series. Since its release in 2011, the book series has sold over 100 million copies and has spawned a whole menagerie of merchandise and even a movie franchise. Now there is 50 Shades! The Musical, a parody of the book series which has proven to be hilariously popular and draws in the crowds both in New York and on tour in LA. Unlike the books, the musical also appeals to many males, with those who have seen the show describing it as very funny and well worth a watch.
The show starts off by introducing a ladies book club who have all decided to read “Fifty Shades of Grey.” The musical then follows through with their interpretation of the story, making use of acting, singing and a live band on stage who play through all of the original songs and dance numbers. The outrageous cast helps to make it a night of fun, frolics, and laugh out loud comedy which will not disappoint. There is no denying that Fifty Shades of Grey the musical would not be where it is today without it’s fantastic team of directors, producers, writers and choreographers, all of whom are very passionate about the show and about the work they put in to it.
The Kirk Douglas Theatre in Beverly Hills is proud to announce that Fifty Shades the musical will be showing for three nights on March 4, 5 and 6 at 8pm, with tickets starting at around $30 a seat. It is well worth booking your tickets in advance to give you an opportunity to spend an evening watching this fantastic show, especially if you are staying in one of the hotels near Beverly Hills. They guarantee you will never see anything quite like it and will not regret coming to see this parody.
