Hollywood Hotel Reservation Policies:

Policies stated below only apply to reservations and bookings made on www.hollywoodhotel.net or calling Hollywood Hotel direct at 1-323-315-1800 or toll free at 1-800-800-9733

Prepayment Policy – Your credit / debit card is charged the total cost for your entire stay at time of purchase or booking. Rates/Prices and room availability are not guaranteed until full payment is received. Reservations without prepayment may be automatically released by hotel without notice. Reservation prepayments are non-refundable. However, at the sole discretion of Hotel, refunds may be given due to extenuating circumstances. Purchasing Travel Insurance is recommended.

Cancellation Policy – Reservation prepayments are non-refundable, however reservations can be cancelled up to 4pm Pacific Standard Time (PST) day of arrival. In the event of a cancellation, your reservation prepayment will be forfeited or can be exchanged for a room certificate/voucher for a future stay subject to space availability equal to the amount of nights of the original reservation. Purchasing Travel Insurance is recommended.

Change Policy – Reservation prepayments are non-refundable, however reservations can be changed to another arrival date up to 4pm PST day of original arrival date without a fee. Changes can be made online and your prepayment will automatically be applied to the new reservation dates.

No-Show Policy – Your reservation prepayment will be forfeited as we held your room for you the entire night waiting for you which we could have otherwise sold to another guest. We understand sometimes plans fall through and you could not cancel or change your reservation by the 4pm PST deadline. If your reservation was for more than 1 night, the remaining amount of the prepayment after deducting 1 night room and taxes, may be applied to a future stay or exchanged for a room certificate voucher.

Other Terms and Conditions – The credit / debit card you used to make your reservation prepayment must be presented upon check in along with a matching name valid government issued ID such as a drivers license or passport. The hotel will NOT be responsible for debit card overdraft fees. If you wish to book multiple rooms, you must use a different name for each room or the duplicate reservation MAY be cancelled by the hotel. Please keep your confirmation number for future reference. 14% local occupancy tax; 1.5% City Tourism Assessment & $2 state taxes per night are NOT included in the stated room rates above. Subject to Change without notice.

Check In – Our official guaranteed check in time is 3pm, however if we have your room available and ready earlier, you may request an early check in rate from 10am – 3pm for an additional $79 + 15.5% tax.

Room availability depends on how early in-house guests check out and how quickly our housekeepers can turn the guest room around.

If a room is not available when you arrive, you may store your luggage with us.

Check Out – Our official check out time is 11am, however you may request a later check out time or half day rate from 11am-5pm for an additional $89 plus 15.5% tax.

Reservations made on 3rd Party Online Travel Agent (OTA) or Travel Agent

  • Reservations and bookings made on a 3rd party (OTA) website or with your travel agent are subject to the terms and conditions of the 3rd party (OTA) website or your travel agent, which may be different than the policies stated above.
  • Reservations and bookings made on a 3rd party (OTA) website or with your travel agent can only be cancelled or changed on the 3rd party (OTA) website or with your travel agent, which made the original reservation or booking.
  • Sorry, we are contractually restricted from cancelling or changing reservations and bookings made with a 3rd party (OTA) website or with your travel agent. We are also contractually restricted from waiving or refunding any penalty or service charges or any other fees you incurred with a 3rd party (OTA) website or with your travel agent.
  • Purchasing Travel Insurance is recommended.

Overbook / Walk Policy – If we need turn away our guest with a reservation guaranteed with i) a valid and authorized credit card, or ii) a prepaid booking through their travel agent or online travel agency (OTA), at our hotel check in desk, our policy is to find our guest alternate accommodation at a 2-3 star hotel and within 5 miles of our hotel. We will reimburse our guest for the FIRST night our guest paid at the alternate hotel on the same credit / debit card our guest made their reservation with. If the replacement room at the alternate hotel is more expensive, we will cover the cost difference between our guest’s reservation rate at our hotel and the rate paid at the alternate hotel. If the replacement room at the alternate hotel is less expensive, we will not cover the cost difference between our guest’s reservation rate at our hotel and the rate paid at the alternate hotel. We will also pay for the taxi / shuttle cost, If any, to the alternate hotel and from the alternate hotel back to our hotel, if our guest’s reservation was for multiple nights. Our guest may also use our phones, free of charge, to notify their family or office of their lodging change. Our guest must provide and give original receipts from the alternate hotel and taxi/ shuttle, if any, to the hotel front office manager in order to receive reimbursement.

Sorry, we cannot reimburse our guest for incidental charges incurred at the alternate hotel or elsewhere, nor can we reimburse our guest for amenities / services which are complimentary at our hotel and nonexistent or require payment at the alternate hotel.

If our guest chooses to refuse the accommodation at the alternate hotel we chose for them, our guest may choose to cancel their reservation with us without penalty or change fees and any prepayment, if any, will be refunded in full via the method in which the original prepayment was made. No cash refunds will be given at the front desk.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the overbooking and wish our guests to remain valued customers of Hollywood Hotel. In order to continue to provide our guests excellent service, we will also mail our guests a room certificate for a complimentary future night stay at Hollywood Hotel as compensation for any inconvenience we may have caused our guest for the overbooking. To receive your Complimentary Room Certificate, please email your name, confirmation number, dates of stay and mailing address to info@hollywoodhotel.net and allow 3-4 weeks for processing.

Pet Policy

Please contact us regarding your pet prior to your stay. A $35/night fee is added per pet, maximum 2 small domestic pets per room.

Best Rate Guarantee Terms and Conditions

Hollywood Hotel – The Hotel of Hollywood guarantees our website www.hollywoodhotel.net and our toll free reservation number (1-800-800-9733) will have the lowest rate publicly available to consumers on the Internet. If you find a rate lower than Hollywood Hotel – The Hotel of Hollywood’s Best Available Rate that is viewable and bookable on another website for the same room type, same number of guests, same currency and for the same dates, and advise us by emailing a screen shot of the other website to info@hollywoodhotel.net within 12 hours after booking your room on our website or through our toll free reservation number, Hollywood Hotel – The Hotel of Hollywood will match the lower rate found and give you an additional 10% off each night of the stay. If there is a rate available on our website or through our toll free reservation number that is the same or lower than the rate on the other website, the Hollywood Hotel – The Hotel of Hollywood rate will be offered instead. Due to rounding and other issues, rates within 99 cents of our Best Available Rate will be considered a match and will not qualify for Best Rate Guarantee claims.

Guest must submit the claim within 12 hours after booking the original Hollywood Hotel – The Hotel of Hollywood reservation and at least 72 hours before scheduled arrival. If the original reservation was made within 72 hours of arrival, the Best Rate Guarantee is not applicable. The competing rate on another website must be for the same hotel, for the same dates, for the same room type, for the same number of guests, in the same currency and must be publicly viewable and bookable via the Internet. A viewable rate means that the general public can view the rate on the website. A bookable rate means that the rate is available and can be reserved online. Special rates available only to members of membership clubs or programs do not qualify.

Hollywood Hotel – The Hotel of Hollywood crew member must be able to verify, to their satisfaction, that the claim meets all conditions of the Guarantee and these Terms and Conditions, and that it has been properly and timely submitted via email to info@hollywoodhotel.net.

Hollywood Hotel – The Hotel of Hollywood reserves the right to reject a Best Rate Claim and/or to cancel any discounted rate previously issued by it in the event of fraud or abuse of this Program or non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

For a multiple night stay, the total room cost for the stay will be evaluated in determining whether the other website has a lower rate.

Any rate change is not effective until the guest receives written confirmation. The standard claims processing time is 48 business hours. Claims submitted outside of business hours (9am-5pm Monday-Friday) will be processed on the next business day. If a guest’s stay begins before written confirmation is received, the original rate will remain in effect. Hollywood Hotel – The Hotel of Hollywood recommends that the written confirmation or email of any rate change be presented by the guest at check-in.

The Guarantee applies only to published rates available to the general public. This excludes private rates, rates involving a prepaid voucher program, require a coupon or promo code, hotel rooms sold as part of a travel package, corporate discount rates, group rates (5+ rooms), meeting rates, any rates requiring membership in a club such as AAA rates or AARP rates, affinity program, or other organization where the rates are targeted toward a specific group of individuals and not intended for the general public.

The Guarantee does not apply to websites or rates where the Hollywood Hotel – The Hotel of Hollywood brand and/or location are not known until the booking is made such as Priceline(r) or Hotwire(r).

If the guest is a member of a loyalty program, the number of Points, airline miles of other currency to be awarded will be based on the rate actually paid by the guest at check-out.

For purposes of this Guarantee, the “rate” includes the room rate only and does not include any taxes or tariffs (i.e. federal, state, provincial or local) or any guest fees or charges (i.e. ? resort fees) which may be imposed by the hotel on the guest’s stay.

The rates available under this Guarantee cannot be combined with any other special or promotional offers or discounts.

Void where prohibited by law. Hollywood Hotel – The Hotel of Hollywood reserves the right to modify, alter, suspend or terminate this Guarantee at any time without prior notice at its sole discretion.

NOTE: It is the policy of the Hollywood Hotel not to make guestroom or suite accommodations available to minors for the purpose of parties in connection with proms or graduation ceremonies. Any such intended use of the guestroom or suite that you have reserved is grounds for the cancellation of your reservation. If we learn that such a party is in progress, and particularly if we have reasonable grounds to suspect that alcoholic beverages are being consumed or that other illegal activity is taking place, we reserve the right to revoke the license to use the accommodation and to immediately evict the occupants.

Step 1: You view the Terms and Conditions and then book a one-night stay at the Hollywood Hotel – The Hotel of Hollywood on the www.hollywoodhotel.net Web site or through the toll-free reservation number, 1-800-800-9733 for a room rate of $100.00.

Step 2: You find a room rate of $90.00 through another website for the Hollywood Hotel – The Hotel of Hollywood for the same night, same room type, same number of guests and in the same currency.

Step 3: You fill out and submit the online Claim Form with your booking details within 12 hours after booking your original reservation and 72 hours before your arrival at the Hollywood Hotel – The Hotel of Hollywood.

Step 4: Assuming our hotel crew member confirms your Hollywood Hotel – The Hotel of Hollywood booking and that the rate on the competing Web site is available and bookable and is lower than Hollywood Hotels’s Best Available Rate, the customer Hotel crew member will modify your reservation to reflect the competing rate plus an additional 10% off. We will notify you of the rate change on your confirmed reservation.

Step 5: Relax, knowing that you have booked the best rate available for your room.
