The 1160 Bar & Lounge is a newly renovated space. With an intimate and stylish atmosphere right out of the Casablanca era from the 30’s, the 1160 Bar and Lounge is a relaxing place for guests to enjoy great recorded music, comedy, cabaret, while drinking moderately priced cocktails.

The 1160 Bar & and Lounge welcomes some of the most talented musicians and comedians in Los Angeles for rehearsal sessions. There is no admission fee or drink minimum at the 1160 Bar & Lounge.

We are committed to the many performers who grace our stage and are very proud to host each and every one of our talented guest. 1160's Events Coordinator Gust William Tsilis was the force behind the internationally acclaimed NYC Jazz Club Visiones, which began in 1986. Gust Tsilis has also recorded numerous CD’s as a leader with artists such as Joe Lovano, Arthur Blythe and John Abercrombie. His intention is to provide an electric forum for LA’s musicians, DJ’s and comedians while calling upon the styles of Blues, Jazz, R&B, World Beat, Latin and singer songwriters.
