Come down to the 92nd Los Angeles County Fair from August 29th through September 28th! At the LA County Fair, there is fun to be found for the whole family! People of all ages staying in hotels near Fairplex, come out for the fair foods, carnival rides, shopping, live entertainment and more! There’s so much to do and see that you won’t know where to start!
One of the best things about the Fair, according to many, is all the great food that you can eat! After all, where else can you eat deep fried snickers or Oreos than at the Fair? Chow down on other classics like funnel cakes, corn on the cob and turkey legs. But, it’s not all snack foods that are only available here at the Fair. This year, the LA Fair is introducing The Farm Kitchen, which will offer fresh and local produce for healthy and vegetarian options.
Looking for entertainment? The LA County Fair has got you covered with their End of Summer Concert Series, presented by Toyota. Artists that will be performing include Neon Trees featuring Cher Lloyd, Jason Derulo, critically acclaimed a cappella groups like Pentatonix and Filharmonic, Zandaya, Martina McBride, Charlie Wilson, David Nail and Easton Corbin with special guest Jamie Lynn Spears and many more!
There are plenty of new things to keep you entertained this year as well! This year, a new project entitled Luminasia, will bring larger-than-life Asian themed lanterns right to you. Each lantern is hand crafted and custom built. It should truly be a beautiful sight to see. Luminasia can be seen Wednesday through Sunday, from 6pm until closing. There will also be Zor, a fire dancer, to entertain you during the evenings. There is even a new Steam Punk themed nightclub called Grinding Gears. Come for the great DJs and stay for the light shows and dancing! Despite all the great new things that are occurring this year, there will also be the classic attractions as well. Fun Kid’s Zones is where your kids can get face painted, visit a petting zoo and more are just some fun things for them to do. There is also a mini Circus complete with aerial acrobats, jugglers and more.
Admission during weekdays is as follows: Adults are $12, children ages 6-12 are $8, and seniors are $10. Prices on weekends and Labor Day for adults, children and seniors are $19, $12, and $15 respectively.
