Everybody loves watching a good movie. So why not gather friends and family to support talented student filmmakers as they debut their 5 minutes films at the 13th annual Campus Movie Festival at Hollywood. If you are interested in the film world, then you can also attend great workshops as well! Enjoy films and attend a red carpet ceremony where awards will be given for best film shorts. This event is from Thursday, June 19th at 9am until Sunday, June 22nd at 11pm. Come support aspiring student filmmakers if you happen to be staying at a hotel around Hollywood at the thrilling Campus MovieFest!

The Campus Movie Festival gathers the most talented student filmmakers from all over the country. Attending the festival will allow you to see Hollywood movie screenings before the general public, screenings of the best student five-minute films, and access to the fun parties and receptions that will be held throughout the festival. If you are interested, there will even be educational workshops held by professionals in the industry that can give you insider information on the film world! There will also be various panels that allow for Q&A, so you can ask questions you’ve always wanted answered. This will definitely be a great networking opportunity for anyone who wants to get off to a great start into the world of movies!

One of the biggest highlights of the Campus Movie Festival is the CMF Hollywood Awards Ceremony. This event takes place at Universal Studios on Sunday, June 22nd at the Globe Theatre. This red carpet event, which is also optional black-tie attire, is your chance to see the best students and films honored. The judges are celebrities from all of over the world with experience in the industry. There will even be a number of special guests who will be presenting and announcing the awards. Some of the awards that will be given out include Best Picture, Best Drama, Best Comedy, 3D winners, the Golden Tripod Awards, winners of the Social Justice Award and more.

Four students originally created the Campus Movie Festival to create opportunities for students who are interested in film to gather and share their work among others. Today, it is the world’s largest film festival for students. Ticket prices range from $129 – $249.
