A traveling festival in honor of a man and his rug, the cult classic movie ‘The Big Lebowski’ and the Coen Brothers who created it, Lebowski Fest is undeniably unique. Having taken place around the world now for many years since it launched in 2002, Lebowski Fest Los
Angeles will be taking place the weekend of April 25th and 26th at the Los Angeles Wiltern
Theater. In total, Lebowski Fest has been featured in over 30 cities worldwide, from its origin in Louisville to Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Austin, Chicago, Milwaukee and even overseas in London and Edinburgh. The event is designed for fans to come together and share in their love for the film, drink White Russians and of course to bowl. If you will be staying at one of the hotels close to the Wiltern Theater and are a fan of the movie, be sure to check out this event!
The two day event begins with the Movie Night on April 25th at 7pm. The night will Feature a screening of the movie, live bands and ‘The Dude’ himself Jeff Bridges will be stopping in to see what condition our condition is in! Music is provided by Jeff Bridges & The Abiders, plus the Kyle Gass Band.
The following night, April 26th, is the Lebowski Fest LA Bowling Party. Expect amazing costumes, trivia competitions, contests, and special guests including the stars from the film like Jim Hoosier, who played Liam, Luis Colina, the Corvette Owner, Lu Elrod, the family waitress and Robin Jones, who played Ralph’s Girl and Jeff Dowd (the inspiration for The Dude)! Shoe rental and balls are included in the ticket pricing. Due to expected high attendance, not all attending can be guaranteed a lane, so get there early.
