You don’t have to wait until Oktoberfest to celebrate beer in Los Angeles! Those staying in hotels close to Paramount Studios this weekend will can participate in the 5th Annual Los Angeles Beer Festival. The event will feature dozens of international and domestic beers along with food trucks and two great bands. There will be two sessions on Saturday, April 6 to spread out the fun!
The Beer Festival’s greatest attraction will be its selection of beer. You can choose from local brands like Angel City Brewing and Venice Beach Beer Company along with popular favorites such as Sierra Nevada, Wyder’s Pear Cider and international picks like Singha beer. Food will be available at the festival, but is sold separately from admission.
Entertainment will be provided by Metal Shop and Howl at the Moon during the afternoon session. Metal Shop is a funny Spinal Tap parody band on the 80s and early 90s hair band era. The tribute band covers material by artists such as Guns N Roses, AC/DC. Quiet Riot, Poison, Motley Crue, Twisted Sister and many more. Black Crystal Wolf Kids will play during the evening session. The tribute band is themed indie rock with costumes, paying homage to Coachella-friendly music of today and yesterday. Howl at the Moon is the world’s great rock ‘n’ roll dueling piano show, coming to Paramount Studios just for the Los Angeles Beer Festival!
This year’s two sessions are from noon to 3pm and 5pm to 8pm on April 6. Admission is $40 and a portion of the proceeds will go towards Noah’s Bark Animal Rescue. Admission includes unlimited beer and parking. There is a $15 designated driver rate at the door, cash only. Tickets are currently sold out, but you can get on the waitlist for a spot!
