The festive season is being celebrated in grand style at The Grove this year. Between November 18th and December 24th (Christmas Eve), celebrations will be taking place to suit the whole family. The Magical Snowfall attraction presented by the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles takes place every night at 7pm and again at 8pm, making beautiful snowflakes descend down from the skies. Children love the magic of the snow, and for adults it is a delightful romantic sight. Elsewhere, the 100 ft tall Christmas tree glitters with more than fifteen thousand twinkling lights and ten thousand ornaments and lights decorating it. A striking white fir tree, the Christmas tree at the Grove is as special as everything else going on to celebrate the festive season. In addition, musical performances take place throughout the venue to showcase holiday brass renditions of popular carols and other seasonal songs. Those staying at one of the hotels near the Grove Los Angeles should head over and join in on the festivities!
For many, though, the highlight of the celebrations will be Santa’s Cottage. Open during The Grove’s operating hours right up to Christmas Eve itself, it’s an opportunity to speak to Father Christmas and have photographs taken for the whole family to enjoy. A range of souvenir photographs, photographic items like key rings and even DVDs are available to commemorate the outing, with a donation of 5% of all photo sales being given to the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. In addition, each Tuesday night is Pet Night at Santa’s Cottage, meaning that beloved dogs and cats can come with the family to be a part of the seasonal snapshot. Visiting the Cottage to take a ticket means that people don’t need to wait in the queue, but can continue their shopping until their specified time slot. There’s plenty to do this Christmas time at the Grove, over and above the usual opportunities for shopping and dining contained in the 575,000 square feet of complex.
